Price structuring varies largely depending on:

• Size of venue (equipment requirements) •

• The location (travelling time) •

• The time we would be required to set-up (often this has to be quite early if it's a wedding reception) •

• The timing of the sets we would be required to play (how long and how late to finish) •

.... obviously the price is reflected accordingly.

Because there are so many variables we always quote for each job individually. It may be that the venue requires a little more equipment than our standard setup but does not justify the 'big rig' & extra personnel- We can put together a system to suit all sizes of room.

For example: 1 x 90 minute set OR 2 x 45 minute sets at a reasonably local, small to medium sized venue with our standard equipment would cost from £600 assuming we would be required to setup equipment at approximately 7pm (we need about an hour to load in & plug in) and that we would be able to pack up and be on our way home by midnight (ish!). The technical stuff page shows our typical stage layout in a small room & marquee. We make a point of setting up quickly & neatly - since we also pride ourselves on our sound quality and the balance & fidelity of the music we do need a little time to get ready. We can fit into quite small spaces and also fill a big room with a great sound & show.

Set lengths are not cast in stone. If you also have a DJ our performance can be arranged to fit in with how you want the evening to 'build' musically and perhaps also around a buffet or meal and speeches & presentations.

Inclusive of the normal price we can provide background music for the time inbetween our soundcheck (when we've finished setting-up) & our set/s (the actual soundcheck is usually very brief, about 2 or 3 minutes) + about 30 minutes of 'disco' music to finish the evening off. For an extra fee of £40 per hour this can be extended.

A booking at a larger venue which would require a much bigger PA system and lots of lights is usually charged from £1050. This would include 2 extra personnel (a sound engineer and a lighting engineer) & requires several hours loading in and setting up. We would typically use this arrangement in a very large room like the James Braide suite at Mere Golf & Country Club where we have played many times.
